Drawn from demos and outtakes, live recordings and home tapes, this CD consists entirely of songs that Richard has never released on his own studio albums. Several of the songs have been released by other artists, but this is the first release of own Richard’s own version. Others have, until now, been unknown even to the most hardcore fans.

Hearing these songs – excluded from the “official canon” – one realises why Richard is so highly regarded: who else could afford to put aside such gems?

We end with the very first performance inspired by a controversial appearance of a star from a very different genre of music….just wait till you hear the audience reaction!
