Cropredy Capers
25 Years of the Festival

Special Offer: all 4 CDs £16

Fairport Convention's Official Website

CDs: Bruised & Beaten Songs, Farewell 'Farewell', Blow Again, The Winding Road,
This set is now offered as 4CDs only as it is simply not possible to re-print small quantities of our splendid books and outer boxes to create new stocks, without having the prices of the sets to zoom up to around £40.

This is the Cropredy box-set fans have always wanted - it's both a perfect souvenir and a fitting celebration of the world's greatest folk rock festival; - and IF 2004's Cropredy Festival turns out to be the very last 'Cropredy-as-we-know-it' , this lavish set will prove the perfect commemoration of this unique era of English musical history.

This mighty set, jointly produced by Free Reed and Woodworm, originally contained four full-length themed CDs with booklets

  • 136-page full-colour book (loads of rare pics from Fairport & fans) - the first full history of the festival's first quarter century, tracklists and in-depth interviews
  • 'Walk Awhile' - a 48-page village guide to Cropredy
  • a 'cut-out and build' model of the Festival
  • the 1st 2,000 serially-numbered sets are all signed by the band!

The music - 80% unreleased - is taken from Dave Pegg's archive of digital masters recorded at each & every festival: selections still being finalised - but here's a taste of what to expect! - you can click on individual CD titles for track details information.
